Arriving from outside the UK

Falmouth has been famous as a first or last port of call for many centuries, and we regularly welcome yachts visiting from all over the world. So whether you are visiting from France, the Netherlands or Spain… passing by from Ireland or even further afield, then Bienvenue, Welkom, Bienvenidos, Velkommen, Cead míle fáilte… or as we sometimes say in Cornwall… Dynnargh dhis!

Border Force

Please see the latest information provided by UK Border Force below:

You must call +44(0)300 0739621 or +44(0)01752 689200 (Border Force Devon & Cornwall) before you disembark the vessel.  If between 20:00 – 08:00 please call +44 (0)7810 851199 instead.

You do not need to call if you have existing permission to enter or remain, or have a right of entry to the UK.

You must have received notification of your permission to enter the UK prior to disembarking your vessel, this may be granted remotely (without physically seeing a Border Force Officer).

Failure to obtain permission to enter the UK may result in you entering the UK illegally and subject to enforcement action.

However, you must call the HMRC National Yachtline to make an arrival report for customs purposes +44(0)300 1232012.
