The Boat Park

Summer Storage (1st May to 30th September)

Our Grove Place boat park is located in the heart of Falmouth, and during the summer season accommodates over 120 day boats of all sizes, up to a maximum of 6 metres in length. Our gently sloping, wide slipway allows easy and safe launching & recovery, and is accessible on all but low spring tides.

If you have your boat moored with us in the harbour, we can also accommodate your tender on one of our 48 dinghy racks, making access to the water quick and easy.

Winter Storage (1st October to 30th April)

During the winter season we can accommodate 40 boats for winter lay-up, including bilge keel yachts and shallow draft motorboats, up to a size of 9.0 metres (30 feet). Vessels stored on trailers are also welcome, and these can either be lifted out by crane or self recovered on the slipway.

As we do not have our own crane or hoist we employ a local crane contractor with a professional team of slingers and banksmen to carry out the operation. The haul-out takes place over a single weekend in October and the boats are lifted back on a weekend in April.

To apply for a summer or winter boat park space please complete the relevant form opposite.

Visiting Boat Storage

If you are planning to stay a few days or longer, and wish to re-launch your boat frequently, please contact a member of the Falmouth Haven team and we can book you a space in our Boat Park, right next to the slipway (charges apply). We can accommodate boats up to 6 metres in length.

Trailer Storage and Car Parking

There is limited space for trailer storage and car parking… but we will always try and make space to accommodate your visit… so make sure you call ahead.
